About Us

History and our staff

Sue started the cattery in the spring of 1992, having previously run her own successful graphic design business. She always had a big love of animals, especially cats.

All of our staff are not only trained in animal care but are cat lovers themselves! Over the years they become attached to our regular visitors who are all welcomed like old friends.

Maureen worked as a veterinary nurse for twenty three years, both in London and Bath, before joining us in 2006. Her own cat is a Persian called Betty Blue.

Sarah has a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Care from Lackham College. After completion she worked at Bath Cats and Dogs home before joining us in 2012.

Cat Diets & Medication

We have a large range of wet and dry foods here. We do like to keep all the cats on their regular diet or similar to help keep them happy. However, there is such a wide variety these days that we cannot stock all of them. So check with us whether you may need to bring in your specialist food.

Please notify us of any veterinary diet or medication when booking.

Vaccinations & Veterinary Issues

All cats must be inoculated at least two weeks prior to their stay with us. If it is necessary to take a cat to a vet we will try where possible to use their usual practice.

In order to keep your cat safe from infection during their stay a current vaccination certificate must be shown – there is more information on our booking page.
